Can You Get Cosmetic Tattooing During Chemotherapy - Everything You Need To Know.

Are you or someone you know going through chemotherapy? Here’s everything you need to know to preserve your brow shape and achieve the best possible results.

What do you need to prepare for with chemotherapy?

Depending on the type of treatment you’re having, you may experience brow and lash hair loss. Usually, your Dr may advise you on if this is to be expected and when in your treatment you may experience the hair-loss.

What can I do to prepare my brows for chemotherapy?

We typically advise Microblading as the best option to prevent you from losing your brow shape, and this will be your ‘base’ in the event brow hairs fall out.

When should I do Microblading if I know I’m going to lose hair?

The best time to do your Microblading is before or in the early stages of Chemotherapy. This is so we can place the shape exactly where your brows are currently growing. That way you don’t experience having completely any eyebrows and feel somewhat ‘normal’ during the process. t

If you missed the chance to get Microblading before you have brow hair loss, that’s ok too, we recommend bringing in some photos so we can use this as a reference.

Is there anything else I need to know?

We may ask your Dr for approval before booking you in, this is to ensure that everything is fine with the treatment you’re having.

You also may be slightly more sensitive if you are currently having treatment, so we may adjust your technique and your aftercare instructions to factor this in.
